Supportive Environment, As parents of students at Cornerstone Christian Education, we are continually in awe of the dedication and passion that the faculty and staff exhibit. The nurturing and supportive environment at Cornerstone has allowed our children to excel academically and personally and grow spiritually.

The quality of education provided is genuinely exceptional. The challenging and engaging curriculum is infused with Biblical teachings and principles. The teachers, committed to each student’s success, go above and beyond to ensure every child reaches his or her full potential.

Proverbs 22:6 (KJV) says, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” This verse encapsulates Cornerstone’s mission – to provide our children with a solid foundation of faith and knowledge.

Our Children Love...

Cornerstone School. They said this school is the best and I agree 100%. From the beginning of the school year, I have been volunteering regularly and what I have noticed is that each staff is so loving and caring toward the students.

The amazing transformation of our daughter’s behaviour and her academic learning ability are remarkable. What an awesome job Mrs. Thomas! I love being in this school environment so much that I now become a staff myself.

What a blessing to our family to be part of this loving, caring, compassionate and supportive community! We are so grateful for you all!

So Thankful...

“So thankful!” is what I would say most. Being away from mom and dad for a longer period of time has been a big adjustment for my son, and for my husband and I, to be honest. However, I am immeasurably thankful that I have such a positive and caring environment to bring him to each day – this brings me a lot of peace and helps me with the adjustment of having my baby away from me.

All the staff have taken the time to get to know him and shown him such love. His teacher in particular is amazing with him – very patient and creative in helping get him involved when he is having a hard time with drop-offs, reminding him of who he is in Christ and praying for him, and also taking so much time to be available, answer my questions and keep me in the loop on how he is doing. Wow.

I have a lot of respect for the educational model, which requires students to demonstrate mastery of a skill before being allowed to progress into more difficult or complex material. Kids are able to work at their own pace, which might be more quickly in some subjects and at a slower pace in others. I think this allows each student to feel success in their own way and to be proud of what *they* can achieve, rather than comparing themselves to a ‘class average’ or to peers.

Lastly, I am so pleased with the way my son is being encouraged to develop his relationship with Jesus, his understanding of the Christian faith and his character/conduct towards others. I have seen a lot of growth in him over the year.

Bless Immensely...

By Cornerstone School.
Our son was a closed-off child, didn’t know how to properly act around other children, always in trouble. So, we homeschooled him until we heard about Cornerstone School. It took him a bit to get used to being in school again, but with the Lord and the love of these teachers, he is blossoming into the young man god intended him to be.

Cornerstone School has not only helped our son but our family as well. They stood by us in the hard times, never did they push us aside. They value and honour not only the students but the parents as well.

We have been blessed immensely by Cornerstone School.
